During September a fantastic family-fun day was hosted in Victoria, Australia. Over 40 contestants took part in the event dedicated to the best of cooking, food and feasting – the Redesdale Camp Oven Cook Off. The event is a calendar favourite and is a chance for cooking teams to show their skills and flair (and not to forget secret recipes) which could crown them camp cooking champions.
Peter Randall of FSM Management (our official Aga distributor in Australia) was given the grand task of judging the event, along with major newspaper food critics, actors, and local business personalities. The winners of the various categories were all awarded for their fine efforts with great prizes, which were sponsored by The Aga Shop Australia.
