Bread making and cake baking in Aberdeen.

Aga Aberdeen recently hosted a Baking Open Day with their local qualified Aga demonstrator, Susan McGinty. The day was a big hit with all their keen Aga Bakers and the group were very quick to swap tips and handy hints about their experience with Aga cooking.

Our menu for the day was jam packed with simple recipes - to really impressive ideas. Susan's delicious menu included homemade lemon curd, chocolate roulade, mincemeat and mandarin crumble and of course, freshly baked Aga bread (a firm favourite with customers!). Susan illustrated just how easy it is to make your own bread, and provided great baking tips for the festive season that lies ahead.

There were many compliments for the whole day with plenty of satisfied taste buds.

For those who missed the opportunity, the Aberdeen shop will be hosting two other Open Days in the run up to Christmas. Once again expect delicious recipes and treats for every appetite.
