Following on from the recent success of Rangemaster in April of this year, Aga’s production sites at Coalbrookdale and Ketley have been awarded accreditation of this prestigious international health and safety standard following an audit by LRQA (Lloyd’s Register of Quality Assurance) which concluded earlier this month.
OHSAS 18001:2007 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems. It is awarded to organisations who demonstrate a commitment to the promotion of occupational Health and Safety.
The assessment requires the organisation to demonstrate that it promotes a safe and healthy working environment by consistently identifying and controlling its health and safety risks and in so doing, reducing the potential for accidents, complying with legislation and improving overall H&S performance.
